Oaks Holiday Clubs
We are very pleased to announce that we are offering holiday clubs throughout 2026. The dates and locations are as follows:
- February Half Term: 16 – 20 February, Monday to Friday (1 week) – Aldermaston CofE Primary School
- Easter Holidays: 7 – 10 April, Tuesday to Friday (4 days) – Mortimer St Mary’s Junior School
- May Half Term: 26 – 29 May, Tuesday to Friday (4 days) – Mortimer St Mary’s Junior School
- Summer Holidays: 3 -7 August, 10 – 14 August, 17 – 21 August (3 weeks) – Mortimer St Mary’s Junior School
- October Half Term: 26 – 30 October (1 week) – Mortimer St Mary’s Junior School
The clubs will run from 8am-6pm. The club is open to all children already attending any primary school (aged 4-11y). The cost will be £42.50 per day. A 10% discount is available for Oaks children, for siblings, and for full-week bookings (one discount will apply per child).
At Mortimer St Mary’s Junior School, we will run the clubs from the dedicated Big Oaks building, and have access to the extensive outdoor grounds. At Mortimer St Mary’s, we also have access to school hall/rooms if required, e.g. for air conditioned spaces, shelter from heavy rain.
At Aldermaston CofE Primary School, we will run the clubs from the main School hall, and have direct access to the outdoor school grounds.
Both sites have secure arrangements for drop off and pick ups and easy parking arrangements.
You and your children will recognise many of the Oaks staff if they come to our clubs, and will make new friends if they don’t. A huge variety of activities will be available every day including organised games, craft activities and messy play.
Our clubs, including our holiday club, are Ofsted registered, fully insured and run with trained and qualified staff.
For more information, please email the office or call us on 0118 933 2960. You can view/download/print our holiday club leaflet here.
WHAT YOU BRING/WHAT WE PROVIDE:
You will need to provide a healthy packed lunch with an icepack or in a cool bag. We provide breakfast, a morning and an afternoon snack (not a meal). Our snack menu will be available to view at club once we have finalised numbers, and we can accommodate dietary needs.
Please also bring suitable clothing/weather protection (we don’t know yet whether this means sun cream or rain coats!) and a change of clothes in case you get wet.
BOOKING INFORMATION:
Once you have completed a registration form (we will have this if your child currently attends The Oaks) you will simply need to read the statement below and complete an online booking form.
Up to one week before the start of club, there is no charge for cancelling or amending your booked days. Within one week of the start of club and once our holiday clubs have started, your booking will remain chargeable whether your child attends or not (other than where a “cooling off” period applies). This is because we plan our staff rotas and snack menus according to our booked numbers. During holiday club, if you wish to swap a day, you may be able to do this if you give us reasonable notice and if we have availability – however this is at our sole discretion.
