We recently carried out our own ‘Ofsted-style’ internal review, with a visit to each club and to our preschool. This helped us to focus together on what we need to do to ensure that we are providing safe and effective childcare. There are always improvements that we are working on, however, our key findings (also shown in the word cloud) were that
- Children’s personal and emotional development is considered
- Children feel happy, safe and secure
- Behaviour is good or above in all settings
- Children are motivated and eager
- Range of activities are planned and on offer
- “Food is the best” promoting balanced, healthy diet
- There is good engagement with our parents
- Safeguarding is effective
